Did Man Put God In A Box?
My In laws had a picture that hung over their fireplace. It was strange to me. It was a very simple poster like photo, in a basic wooden frame. Nothing fancy. It was apparent this had significance so one day, I asked my MIL about it. She said it was a portrayal of the 12 tribes of Israel in the desert after being freed from Egypt. And in the center with a beam of light to the sky was the Tabernacle. Not being Christian at the time I didn’t know the story too well but later I learned the importance of the Tabernacle and why it meant so much to them. It’s a story most can’t comprehend in this day in age. We have no concept of this miracle.
But maybe it’s because the visuals we have been shown don’t really portray the truth of the Tabernacle. I challenge you to read Exodus 26 and look at the photo above.
I recently came across a video of a very different portrayal of the Tabernacle. It’s round! An architect named Andrew Hoy had studied in Israel for some time and learned Hebrew. After returning to the states he was reading the Bible and took the instructions of the Tabernacle God had given them and built a replica by following the exact instructions; not adding to or subtracting from it. This gift has brought to life the true work God intended for his people to worship.
It’s my belief that someone or some group may have thought it would be great to fool the masses and change it. My first thought is that they are attempting to put God in a box. But I believe it goes to a much sinister level. I’m not going to go into too much detail at this time but just to say the measurements come out to be PI. “314” This is an example of how God uses math to show how perfect our world is and we should stop trying to change it into “Man’s World”.
What a special gift Mr. Hoy has which he has shared with us to discover this secret of the Tabernacle. This is a beautiful discovery for humanity!
